Dr Ronald Levy joining AIBODY's Scientific Advisory Board

Dr. Ronald Levy is an internationally recognized leader in medical simulation and healthcare education. Since 2001, he has pioneered simulation-based training as founding Director of the UTMB Patient Simulation Center. A tenured Professor and holder of the Susan Brown Logan Endowed Professorship, his contributions have earned him the UT Distinguished Teaching Professor designation, Regent's Outstanding Teacher Award, and induction into the UT Academy of Health Science Educators. In 2016, he became an inaugural Fellow of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare Academy. 

Dr. Levy has helped shaped the field internationally as Section Chair and Co-Chair of the International Meeting on Medical Simulation (IMSH) in 2012 and Associate Editor-in-Chief for the ASA's Interactive Computer Based Education Editorial Board from 2016 to 2022. He has served as the Editor in Chief of the Editorial Board since then. As a founding member of the AIBODY Scientific Advisory Board, he brings decades of expertise in simulation-based education to guide the development of digital physiology solutions for transforming medical training and clinical care.
